While the 20 bed dorm was basic it was clean & comfortable. Being able to pay backpacker prices whilst staying in a resort facility is unbeatable. Kitchen and amenities block were kept very clean. Reasonable (for a resort) priced light meals from t...

The AAT Kings tours are ok, but expensive. I tried the Uluru Rock tour with one of their guides. It was nice, easy paced, and very well done. There was an option to climb the rock, but out of respect for the local community we all chose not to. I also went on the Kings Canyon Walk. If you are traveling to Alice Springs, do the tour with your trip to AS, you will save about $50.
Get an indepth view of the Red Centre as you explore the must see sights. Learn about Aboriginal culture as you visit Palm Valley, Western MacDonnell Ranges, Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon and of course Uluru itself.
