The hostel is right in the heart of the Mt Buller ski village just metres from the Bourke Street ski lift, ski hire outlets, bars and cafés. Mt Buller is the closest downhill skiing and snowboarding mountain to Melbourne. Backpackers should make the most of excellent downhill runs for skiers or snowboarders of all levels, plus plenty of cross-country ski trails.
