Byron Bay YHA backpackers hostel is in the centre of town, only 400m to the beach. The large comfy common areas and kitchen overlook a heated pool and BBQ. The hostel has both multi-share backpacker rooms, and twin/double rooms with fans. Large decks to relax on. Internet, TV room, locker room, surfboards, free tea/coffee. Byron Bay has unspoiled beaches, great walking and cycling trails for backpackers to explore as well as great local nightlife only minutes from the hostel. Surfing, kayaking with dolphins, snorkelling, whale watching, rainforest and backpacker tours to Nimbin. We will direct you to the best surfing spots on the coast and may even join you for a surf. YHA hostel has BBQ party nights and pool competitions throughout the week.
