Bus:
For buses arriving at Southern Cross station, follow train instructions above.
Train: To reach the hostel from Southern Cross station walk 2 blocks (400 metres) East up Bourke Street to William Street (or catch Tram 86 or 96).
From William St catch tram 55 or 68 going North, get off at stop 19,
walk 150 metres down Abbotsford Street, turn left into Chapman Street.
From Flinders Street Station, exit to Elizabeth Street and follow TRAM instructions below.
Plane: About $40 to hostel in a taxi; $16 by Skybus to Southern Cross Station (runs 24 hours)
Skybus offer a complimentary bus transfer to the hostel during day time (check with driver).
Other: TRAM from city: Catch Tram 59 North from Elizabeth St to stop 19. Walk 150 metres down Abbotsford Street, turn left into Chapman Street.
To use public transport in Melbourne you must purchase a Metcard, they cost $3.50 per 2 hour trip or $ 6.50 for the whole day.
Tickets are valid for all city buses, trains and trams. Purchase tickets at the hostel, on trams (coins only) or from convenience stores e.g 7-11
