"I have often returned to Lennox hostel as it always provides a very high standard of accommodation. It is very clean, comfortable and ideally situated for beach and surf lovers. The staff are always accessible, well informed and friendly. And let's not forget the internationally renowned "chocolate cake" which is available for a mere $1.50 a slice. Highly recommended to all traditional hostelers."

"Small and friendly with great opportunity to meet others, lots of gear to hire for $5 during stay eg bike, caneo, surf boards. Disappointed that smokers were allowed to smoke in the outside courtyard area as this filters to rooms and kitchen and is a confined space with buildings on all sides, perhaps they should smoke at the rear [or better still not at all] Overall very good and would stay again"

"This hostel is in a brilliant location - only 100m to either the beach (patrolled area) or Lake Ainsworth. Perfect for using the watercraft the hostel has for hire for a single $5 fee (surfboards, boogeyboards, paddleskis, windsurfers). It's about a 10 min walk to the main street. I visited when it was quiet and the friendly owners spread you out rather than jamming you all in one or two dorms."

"A good little hostel - although both dorms and rooms are decidedly on the small side. Also, rooms (including the bathrooms) are directly off the central courtyard, which might be a liitle confronting for some."

"We hae a fabulous three days at the hostel. Graeme, the manager is a very kind and generous host who lent us board games, videos and water sporting equipment to use on the near by lake. The location is great - 2 minutes from the surf and the lakeside. The facilities have everything you need - including a herb garden which the guests are encouraged to use in their cooking. I highly recommend it"
