"Delightful grounds, gardens and setting - rural and tropical. I appreciated my tiny, fixed-floor tent with views of the hills and the valley. The bed linen provided was a surprise as I had come armed with a sleeping bag."

"I decided to stay here for my one night stay in Nimbin. It was my birthday and I didn't have anyone to celebrate with but that was alright with me. When I told the nice lady at reception she insisted I join in on a feast that a nice man named Jan was cooking up. So I did and everyone wished me a happy birthday! All of these people I had just met. Everyone was so friendly. And I slept like a baby!"

"a truly beautiful setting and the girl on reception was outstanding - but there are hostellers who think that 'Nimbin = free for all' and their selfishness (smoking, loud music, loud tv and careless attitudes) undermines the whole experience. "

"Amazing relaxing stay with beautiful national parks surrounding it - like a secret paradise oasis in a beautiful location and set in amazing gardens. A little way from town but only a 15 minute walk or there are two bus runs a day from the YHA to take you there and back. Amazingly clean - the kitchen is cleaned 3 or 4 times a day and the whole place is spotless. Really nice atmosphere with quite a few people staying long term and working for accommodation but not a cliquey atmosphere like some places.........highly recommend it"
