"Convienently located and in good condition, I found this a handy hostel for my brief one-night stay in Woollongong. I can't comment on facilites like kitchens etc., since I didn't get the time to use them, but it was a smooth stay, quiet & comfortable."

"Two shower-room/toilets ONLY for several dorms Are you kidding? Similar for kitchen. No lights on for the beds and no ventilation. The only good thing was under cover parking."

"Great hostel, its small so bit quiet but great facilities and close to town and the beaches. Good kitchen and lounge facilities shared with students. Only negative is the internet is shocking. I paid money and the network was so slow on both computers available. YHA please find a replacement internet operator."

"The staff at reception made an effort to ensure friendly, hospitable and informative service happened. Most people were very friendly and accepting. Generally facilities were neat and clean. Very well located. The view inside the courtyard is great, with the beach being visible through the building next door (He, He). But there were some aging appliance in the kitchen."

"Good location, however if you are a light sleeper you might find this hostel difficult. Doors bang loudly and corridors echo noise. The YHA guidebook doesn't mention the hostel is also used by University students. So there are many signs telling of the Don'ts, which are probably aimed mainly at the students! Therefore, some of the cozy, friendly ambience found in most hostels is lacking."
