"Michael and Sarah are superb hosts, going out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and ensuring they make the most of the hostel's picture-postcard setting. This hostel is perfect for those wanting calm and an escape from city life. Great walks nearby and a swim or kayak is a lovely way to pass the time. Very friendly place with a relaxed and considerate atmosphere. Will be staying again!"

"I am in two minds about sharing my experience....such a lovely retreat away from the city I want to keep it a secret! Sooo peaceful, no cars, no pollution, up in the treetops overlooking the water, no noise, chances to swim, paddle, sail, hike, read in a hammock - lovely! "I could only stay for 23 hours this time! Michael helped me make the very most of such a short visit by helping me pick the best time and route for a fantastic kayak on Morning Bay. A day at Pittwater YHA is as restful and restoring as three days anywhere else! I'm looking forward to my next stay."

"The hostel was just as described by all the other reviews. Amazing views, simply stunning. One of the other pleasant surprises was that it was very peaceful - just what I needed after a week of business conferences and non-stop meetings. From the views, to the sounds to the feeling of being alone, it felt more like a retreat than a hostel. stay. Definitely recommended. I still feel recharged!"
