"Kings Canyon is an amazing destination, but expensive for meals. We had come prepared to cook meals as we had been told that there was a kitchen, but there were no cooking utensils, crockery or cutlery. These had to be hired from the service station. Food items were more than double of those in AliceSprings. We felt that it was reasonable to pay more but not that much. Great staff in retaurant."

"Superb location close to Kings Canyon.
Do not expect great facilities but for such remote location, it is ok.
Be warned of the continuous Air Con that can be annoying sometimes.
Otherwise OK and great Swimming Pool !

"Really enjoyed the stay here especially as the 2 of us got a 4 dorm cabin to ourselves! Resort staff were lovely and very helpful and friendly, even including us in their Christmas staff party. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that all cooking things had to be hired from the store (not sure what the cost was of this) but I don't remember reading this before we arrived"

"Luck to have a 4 bed dorm to myself and much needed after Uluru. Staff friendly and helpful. Internet outback try not to use. If you do not have your own cooking utensils you have to hire for $10 for length of stay and $50 depoit whcih you get back. Check in deposit as well which took almost a week to be refunded if short on cash could be a problem. Great bbq meal and staff friendly."
