"am an older traveller and found there some thing here for every age group to do around the Macoochyore and Sunshine coast area and has to be in my top 5 of good hostile to stay for security and safety and cleanliness and staff really friendly and go out of the way to answer question and enquires, so happy i extended my stay for a few more days."

"Great hostel, everyone was so friendly! Free breakfast and BBQ were great as were the free canoes. Bit out of the way so had to get buses to places. Went to the Australia Zoo from here - it is really close."

"This was a good hostel to stay in for a few nights. Some of the facilities were a bit tired but it was all clean and the staff were very friendly. The pool was good and they would have great BBQs on a Weds. The only down side was that the lock on our bedroom door was not very secure at all. You could force the door open just by wiggling and moving the handle. But otheriwse an enjoyable stay!"

"I was surprised how great this little place was. It's like home away home. I love the pool area with the hammocks under the palm trees. Staff were very freindly which made guests becoming friendly too. Did I say the Movie room was awesome!!!"

"Justin and his team are doing a great job. Kitchen and bathroom were always clean - thank you. Great to have free breakfasts. As an older user and mum of young adults, I liked seeing the 'younger ones' starting their day with fruit, cereal, toast, juice and fruit. Brilliant system of having your own container of dishes provided by the YHA - result = no messes or unwashed dishes left ever!"
