Bridport is a small seaside village in Tasmania's sunny north coast, on the shores of Anderson's Bay nestled in a picturesque setting of natural bush with beautiful sheltered beaches. Bridport Seaside Lodge Backpackers YHA is a purpose-built hostel and is located opposite the river estuary. It is only a few minutes walk from the hostel to the beach, bakery, cheap eats, post office, internet cafe and shops.

From the hostel windows, view the estuary life - sea eagles, pelicans and other sea birds. Explore the river by canoe, try oystering, walk the two and a half hour coastal walk or try fishing either off the beach or in a boat. A short drive away from the YHA you will find a lavender farm, wineries, sand dunes, waterfalls and mountain walks. Worldclass Barnbougle and Lost Farm golf courses.
