"Lovely location. Friendly restaurant staff. People with children need to make sure that they keep them quiet upstairs after 10:30 as every sound carries!. Shared kitchen needs a bit of an upgrade ( teaspoons, clean tea towels and cleaning cloths would make a difference) Fly screens on windows and fans in the rooms would be a great addition. Fascinating ,stately old residence ."

"Queenscliff is a very small town. If you are considering a stay there, keep that in mind. I had come from the city, so this was quite a contrast! As it was a very quaint little place, the kitchen was an antique hole, and the bunks no better than awful. I would not recommend going for longer than one night. One might want to consider staying in Sorrento or Torquay or another surrounding town."
