"All in all it was alright, but paying deposit for dirty cuttlery and pots, that's not what you wanna do. And you had to be really lucky to find a toilet with toilet paper. Also there wasn't any soap and no one intended to refill it... But the place is nice and the staff is friendly, staying in a hostel is not the same as staying a hotel, so i would still recommend this hostel. cheers"

"Hostel was good. Although myself and two others had things stolen from the pool area (2 towels and a pair of bathers). Biggest problem is that they advertise that they have aircon but what they fail to mention is that you have to pay for it. Understandable but should be told!"

"This would be ideal if you are a young person who likes to party and to drink near the pool. It would be alright if you don't expect it to be like other hostels which have access to laundry facilities in the mornings."

"I stayed in a double room during Sun 11th through Wed 14th September 2011. The hostel exceeded my expectations. A negative was the room had paper thin walls and I could hear the conversation of my neighbours. Also the curtains barely coverd the window and impeded privacy. Otherwise, excellent location and clean, and great pool and bike hiring facilty. One of the best hostels I have stayed in."

"Happy atmosphere, nice pool and ideal location but rowdy guests and neighbours detracted from a good night's sleep! The bathrooms are not adequate, with hygiene compromised by broken and damaged surfaces in the showers. Disappointed that we had to pay a bond on eating utensils - but approve of strategy to thwart the bedbugs."

"Great location; bar and bar food was good. TV room and foxtel in bar was good. Provided lockers were good, but rooms were not always locked, which allowed drunken jerks who weren't even guests barge into your room at all hours and wake you up. And despite the no-smoking signs, these signs were ignored and the KK's bar was a very smoker-friendly zone which was a turn off."
