Margaret River YHA captures the spirit of Margaret River region.With a variety of rooms in rammed earth buildings from dormitory style (8-10 bed or 4 bed), doubles/twin rooms, triples, singles and en suite rooms with; TV, fridge, kettle, toaster, toilet and shower.

On-site facilities:With a newly refurbished 24 hr kitchen/common room, free videos, games & puzzles, pool table, and book exchange. Large grounds in a bush setting, swimming pool, volleyball net, petanque, croquet, a large range of sporting equipment, free and hire bikes.
Accessibility to town - 15 minute easy walk or 2 minutes by car, across the road from: local sports grounds, recreation centre, aquatic centre, karate club, bmx track, bushwalking trails, cycle ways, cultural centre, tennis club. Around the corner from the yoga centre, organic greengrocer and local churches.
10 minutes drive to the beach and 6+ first class wineries including Leeuwin Estate. We can organise surfing, sightseeing, adventure and wine tours.

Things to do: Margaret River YHA is located near the most well-known Western Australian wine region and is well worth visiting the area to sample the local produce. You can visit many wineries, breweries, cheese, chocolate, coffee and ice-cream factories. The area is also known for its world famous surf breaks. Activities include everything from horse riding and canoeing to abseiling and climbing.

Be sure to have a meal at the Settlers tavers, the food is great and it's a very friendly place. Well catered for children too. The fudge factory in town was good and so were the nut and cereal place, the MR Dairy company and the chocolate factory. Don't waste your time on Miller's icecream though. Go to hamelin bay and see the big stingrays at the boat ramp
