This is the sort of world that YHA/Hostelling International doesn't just dream about, it's a world we are hard at work creating.

The YHA/HI hostel network enables young people of differing nationalities, cultures and social background to meet informally, share experiences, learn about themselves, each other and their surroundings. Hostels foster a remarkable international awareness about current issues.

Now, through exciting new initiatives, YHA Australia is taking steps towards promoting and raising awareness about peace issues even further. In conjunction with Hostelling International Associations all around the world and with the support of UNESCO, YHA Australia is increasing its involvement with Hostelling for Peace and International Understanding.
