The 2 Day PADI E-Learning "Open Water" dive course is completed on-line through the PADI website. You can complete your study in your own time before you come and dive with us. You will never lose your text books as they will always remain online, perfect for travelling!
Learning how to dive with Stradbroke Island Scuba Centre is an awesome experience. Not only do our students get excellent training from our professional instructors and have access to our PADI five star training facility, but also their open water dives take place at our amazing reefs.

Only minutes away from our doorstep, Straddie's reefs are teeming with various marine life such as Manta rays and Leopard sharks during summer (Nov-Apr), endangered Grey Nurse sharks and migrating Humpback Whales during winter (Jun-Oct). Stradbroke Island plays host many other species including eagle rays, guitar sharks, turtles (Green, Hawksbill and Loggerhead), dolphins, octopus, pelagics, hard & soft corals, nudibranchs plus hundreds of tropical fish species.
