If you haven’t been to Port Douglas, then you are in for a treat. This tropical yet sophisticated town is in a pretty special part of the world with the outer Great Barrier Reef less than an hour offshore and the Daintree Rainforest right on its doorstep. The most famous attraction of the lot is Four Mile Beach, a long stretch of palm fringed white sand that will make you feel like you’re in a tropical Paradise. With these amazing attractions so close, you should definitely make time to check them out in between all the eating and drinking at Port Douglas Carinvale.
