1 Day Active Blue Mountains Tour

The perfect tour for those short on time and looking for an active day of bushwalks and incredible views. See kangaroos and koalas up close and hear the stories of the local Aboriginal legends.

Escape the city and start the day with a visit to Featherdale Wildlife Park. This hands on experience gives you the opportunity to see and touch Australian wildlife up close, have a photo with a koala, hand feed a kangaroo and see all your Aussie favorites.

Join an eco-accredited guide as they take you on an amazing bushwalk through the World Heritage national park. Stone hop across a stream, follow the edge of the cliff, see awesome views, take great photos from lookouts and see a stunning waterfall.

After a big bushwalk, enjoy a tasty picnic lunch made with fresh local produce. See the famous Three Sisters rock formation, one of the most iconic images in Australia.  As well as getting that classic photo, you'll hear the stories of the local Aboriginal legends.

Next you’ll discover the Furber Steps, a path cut into the side of the cliff. Descend into the valley surrounded by rainforest, see waterfalls and stunning views of valley and Three Sisters. At the bottom you can choose to take the famous Scenic Railway back to the top (own expense) or challenge yourself to return via the steps.

A medium level of fitness is required to join this trip.

Learn about the aboriginal legends and the blue haze phenomenon of the Blue Mountains. Browse through the antique and craft shops at historic Leura and go back in time at the Candy Store, an old-time lolly shop.

Tour award-winning Featherdale Wildlife Park - take a close up photo beside a cuddly koala, hand feed kangaroos, see wombats, crocodiles and more! Two course lunch is included and on the way home enjoy a relaxing river cruise along the Parramatta River.

Blue Mountains Overnight Tour

This tour combines a one day guided tour and a day for you to make the most of your time in Blue Mountains. Spend the day hiking, canyoning or venture a little further to check out Jenolan Caves.

This two day Blue Mountains Overnight Tour is perfect for nature lovers looking to explore this stunning national park. 

The first stop after an early start is a fun and interactive Australian wildlife park, home to the largest collection of Australian native animals in the world, where you can cuddle a kangaroo, feed a wallaby, check out some huge crocodiles and take a selfie with a koala!

After arriving in the Blue Mountains, you go on your first bushwalk where you will learn about ancient indigenous inhabitants, bush tucker and native flora & fauna. You’ll come across colourful birds, unique animal life and dramatic canyons and cliffs.

You’ll see the Three Sisters, the famous rock formation and one of the most iconic images in Australia. The views overlooking the Jamison Valley are stunning, even on a cloudy day this will take your breath away! Experience an amazing cliff face walk down through the rainforest, following which you can then walk back up or hold on tight as you ride the world’s steepest railway up (own expense).

At the end of the day your will be dropped you at your accommodation located in the heart of the Blue Mountains National Park with restaurants, bars, cafes and shops only minutes' walk away. Check in, relax, then head out into the night!

The Jenolan Caves: Located on the western side of the Blue Mountains National Park, the Jenolan Caves are dated as one of the oldest cave systems in the world. See stalactites and stalagmites inside the Lucas Cave or  experience the Chifley Cave's large chambers, richly draped in colourful limestone crystal. This optional add- on is a coach tour including return transfers and entry to either the Lucas Cave or Chifley Cave departing daily from Blue Mountains YHA at 10.25am to Jenolan Caves and returns to the Blue Mountains YHA by 5.00pm. 

Half Day Abseil: A brilliant half day abseiling adventure. The abseiling starts with a beginner friendly 5 metre high cliff. Your instructors are close at hand to encourage and explain the techniques. With your instructor explaining each step, you progress through to a 15 metre high cliff finishing on a thrilling 30 metre high drop. The setting is beautiful bushland, making it both a scenic and exciting adventure!

The train to Sydney departs every hour from Katoomba til about 10pm so you've got all day to soak up mountain vibes and return at a time that suits you. 

  • The bush walk from Govetts leap to Evans lookout is a great 2 hour walk with awesome views of the valley, worth checking out if you have time.

  • Hawkesbury Heights is quite different than the upper mountains as the upper mountains are geared for tourists where the lower mountains aren't as much. But their are some lovely walks between springwood to Faulconbridge and in Glenbrook. Just do a little research first.
