Set on 26 acres of land in the heart of wine country, Hunter Valley YHA is just a short distance from the main epicentre and the world famous Hunter Valley Gardens. There is plenty to do in the area, from wineries and chocolate tasting, to horse riding and visiting the Hunter Valley Zoo. It’s a great place to come back to, with a nice relaxed atmosphere, making it an ideal getaway. We can accommodate groups of up to 34 people.
With the changing restrictions being imposed by the State Government, our maximum occupancy may be reduced in line with our COVID-safe plan. This can also have an effect on our specific rates for the dates you wish to stay. When you enquire with us, we will provide you with the most up to date information we can. Hunter Valley YHA has a large number of 4 share rooms, with communal bathrooms situated centrally in the building. All rooms include linen and lockers.
We have a selection of single, twin/double, and family rooms – either with shared bathrooms for the budget conscious, or with ensuites for anyone wanting extra privacy. These rooms are conveniently located near to our multi-share rooms, so you can be near to the rest of your group.
For medium to large groups, we offer the option to rent the entire property. This gives you full, exclusive access to all of our rooms and facilities, and is the perfect option for anyone looking for extra privacy.
