My stay at this YHA was amazing. It was super clean, and had a great atmosphere. I recommend bringing your own bowls and cutlery for convenience. The only downside was that the light in the hallway came through the door at night making it a little difficult to sleep, but that’s easily solved with an eye mask. Definitely would recommend

I became very comfortable at this hostel as soon as I moved in. I stayed in the hostel for 5 months and and it felt like home to me. The staff are so easy to get along with and friendly and will do there best to help you when they can. The location is great aswell, the beach is right outside the hostel and right next to the bus stop which will take you to the city in less than an hour. I really enjoyed my time here.

It was a bargain considering location I was travelling for work just needed a bed an a shower linen was spotless kitchen a bit messy but bathroom fab best pressure in the shower I’ve ever had and I’ve bedn around the world 3 times thank you

Two guys in my room snored loudly all night. There was also another noise coming into the room that was disturbing for sleep. And the woman in the bunk below mine kept hitting snooze on her morning alarm, so it went off several times before she got up and sprayed perfume around the room. Sheets seemed clean and the bunk was fine, although I'd have preferred a side rail on my top bunk.

Stayed fri sat nites. Overall pretty good. Location was a massive plus. However the noise was ridiculous. They upstairs partied till 5 ish. Next morning neighbours across the street told me they heard it. I’m not sure if staff are on at night. But I’d probably risk it and stay again.

We review these ratings daily, and publish any comments whether they are good or bad. However, there are a few instances where we will not publish comments online:

INAPPROPRIATE OR OFFENSIVE COMMENTS

We will not publish inappropriate and/or offensive comments.

Inappropriate or offensive comments include, but are not limited to, personal harassment or discrediting of YHA staff, hate speech, sexually explicit language, swearing or references to illicit drug usage.

UNSUBSTANTIATED OR INCORRECT CLAIMS

We will not publish any comments that are not directly related to the hostel, or your experience during your stay.

Hostels will have the right to have negative comments removed if they can prove that claims are unsubstantiated, incorrect or you did not stay at the hostel that you are commenting on.

COMMENTS INCLUDING STAFF NAMES

We will not publish comments that include full staff names, irrespective of whether your comment is positive or negative.
