V/Line buses depart from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne to Phillip Island
frequently each day. The hostel is located 10 metres from the bus stop at
Newhaven Service Station.
Phillip Island is a 90 minute drive from Melbourne. Take the Monash Hwy (M1) to
Cranbourne exit, then South Gippsland Hwy (M420) to Bass Hwy (A420). Follow to
San Remo. The hostel is just across the bridge onto Phillip Island in The Big
Wave complex on the left.

Conservation Centre, walk deserted beaches, explore the rugged coastline or

The hostel has a great laidback vibe and a dynamite cafe. We arrived late and they had left our keys and a plan for us to get to our room. This was a huge relief.
The internet is spotty.
