YHA Discount Provider Program
The YHA Discount Provider Program is a great way to promote your business and reach a market that spends double the average tourist. As part of this program, all discounts are listed free of charge on yha.com.au and a select number of high value discounts are featured within the annual YHA Accommodation Guide.
Discounts are also promoted at local hostels, in member e-newsletters and within the YHA member magazine, Backpacker Essentials.
Discounts offered are available to all YHA & HI (Hostelling International) members and are one of the key benefits to our membership program.
To become a discount provider is simple! Just download the application form and return it to your state contact and they will do the rest! If you want your discount listing to be considered for the 2012 Accommodation Guide make sure you return it by 3 June 2011.

YHA Accommodation Guide
Published annually on 1 October, the YHA Accommodation Guide is a comprehensive DL size guide, packed with information on YHA hostels around Australia, plus listings for hundreds of YHA member discounts.
140,000 copies are published annually, and distributed to all new YHA members, through the 120 Australian hostels, to university students, visitor info centres, and independent tour operators. Additionally many thousands are distributed globally through our international agents and Hostelling International networks.
Invest with one advertisement in this guide and your business will not only reach this huge target market for 12 months but will enjoy the benefits of aligning your business with YHA Australia, the industry leader.

Backpacker Essentials
Backpacker Essentials is the official members magazine of YHA Australia, and mailed to over 50,000 Australian members three times a year. Copies are also made available in every YHA hostel around Australia.
Advertising in the print magazine ensures inclusion in the new online digital version, including hyperlinks. It is the only magazine of its type in Australia that reaches this mix of budget travellers.

YHA Australia Map
Produced in November each year, this quality product includes a detailed Australia map, travel tips and a complete list of YHA hostels in Australia.
150,000 copies of the Australia Map are published annually and are widely distributed throughout the YHA domestic and international network.
Targeting the independent traveller to Australia this map allows the traveller to plan their trip and can promote some of YHA's key partners who offer special deals to YHA members.
