the place was a bit to locate during night time as the sign was really small and hidden. information of late arrival could be pre informed via email instead of expecting guest to call as not all people would arrive with a mobile phone.

Location is fabulous, easy to get to main street and the beach. Nice cosy house and wonderful host Evonne made sure we were well looked after.
Must give a thumbs up to the quality of the beds! Its firm and felt almost new unlike most hostels where...

My friend and I booked a private double bed room and it was extremely easy to book the room with YHA Sorrento. The room was really cosy, a good size for two people and the bathroom was really spacious too. There was complimentary shampoo and conditio...

I complained about the kitchen tap leaking and Evonne had it repaired in no time. Excellent service and very cosy with the open fire.

Sorrento YHA has lots of charm, friendly staff and a fantastic location, only minutes away from Sorrento's main shopping strip. Highly recommended.

Needed a good sleep away from the big smoke with a touch of salt in the air and some easygoing buddies; it all worked out. My only regret was not getting to know them all a bit better!
Thank you Sarah.

Most people won't have our experience, but you need a mobile phone on arrival before 5ish as the manager displays her mobile number to ring for key access. Inconvenient as we didn't have one and had to go back up the main street to the tourist office...

Great facility. Clean. Organised. Warm. Friendly people and good tourist information available. Maybe a little inconvenient to get to by public transport, but that's also part of the fun and challenge. Visit the Peninsula Hot Springs if you can.

This hostel is the perfect venue for your escape from the city. Explore the region and have adventures with the dolphins & seals, play a round of golf, learn to surf, horse ride on the beach, visit peninsula wineries, walk along magnificent ocean beach tracks or just stroll to Sorrento village (100 meters walk from YHA) and choose a restaurant, catch a film, visit a gallery or museum, or just watch the ferry come & go...
The hostel is conveniently located close to local pubs, with a great nightlife for you to discover. Visit the Continental Hotel for music until late on weekends, or Hotel Sorrento for a more relaxed pub atmosphere and great views over the bay.

Read the map before you go out walking to find the back beach. The IGA at the end of the main street was brilliant for good quality groceries. The cafe attached to IGA was nice and informal and relaxed. Pity I discovered these on the last day of my stay.
