The house had a cosy, comfortable feel to it. The location is very convenient. The kitchen felt like a country kitchen. The free tea and coffee facility was a pleasant surprise, as well as the free breakfast. Thank you.

Very much a 'party' hostel largely populated by long stays working at the meatworks. Still pleasant, however.

  • Located in the historical part of Albany, the hostel dates back to the 1800's. Old world charm cheerfully blends with modern amenities to create a relaxed atmosphere. Magnificent views over Princess Royal Harbour from the top story. Large windows line the hostel overlooking the picnic tables in the grassed area. Albany YHA is a green hostel, environmentally aware with active recycling principles. Only minutes to the centre of town, yet the quiet, leafy location ensures a peaceful night's sleep.
