location perfect, kitchen storage below par, staff excellent, no herb garden, small maintenance items annoying, partly because they could be so easily rectified. eg sticky surface of the tables in the dining room; dripping shower head in the male ups...

The house had a cosy, comfortable feel to it. The location is very convenient. The kitchen felt like a country kitchen. The free tea and coffee facility was a pleasant surprise, as well as the free breakfast. Thank you.

We always enjoy YHA's anywhere in the world. Staff always friendly and keen to help. The Albany Bayview is in a fab location just minutes walk from the historical prescent of the old Amity ,museums etc. A few minutes walk to shops, cafe, hotels. We ...

Located in the historical part of Albany, the hostel dates back to the 1800's. Old world charm cheerfully blends with modern amenities to create a relaxed atmosphere. Magnificent views over Princess Royal Harbour from the top story. Large windows line the hostel overlooking the picnic tables in the grassed area. Albany YHA is a green hostel, environmentally aware with active recycling principles. Only minutes to the centre of town, yet the quiet, leafy location ensures a peaceful night's sleep.
Please Note: The price of 5 Bed Family Room is based on 2 adults and up to 3 under aged children. Charges on arrival for each additional adult guest.
For guests staying with us in December, please note that we are unable to allow check in's or check out's on Christmas day (25th December).

Whales!!!! Lots of them in season. The biggest reason to visit the town. Otherwise if you live in the Great southern or the wheatbelt (or just stay here for a longer time) it is really a getaway from the calmness of the countryside.
