A relaxed and friendly atmosphere and superb views make Augusta YHA a great location from which to explore the Augusta/Margaret River region. Swim at pristine beaches, taste wine from local vineyards, climb mainland Australia's tallest lighthouse, explore amazing caves and forests, watch whales on their annual migration, kitesurf on the Blackwood River, get up close with huge stingrays at Hamelin Bay and watch the sunset over two oceans at the truly awesome Cape Leeuwin.
Watch the sunset "where two oceans meet". Explore amazing caves, swim at pristine beaches, interact with stingrays at Hamelin Bay, taste wine at local vineyards, climb mainland Australia's tallest lighthouse, whale watching (June-Sept).
Not much to do there without a car. With a bicycle, you can go to one of the caves (±8 km), or out to the Cape Leeuwin lighthouse (±10 km). There are also river tours, and you can also rent boats. Beautiful foreshore walking/cycling path, some nice beaches along the way.
Unique all inclusive camping tour taking you from Perth all the way around the South West with plenty of time to experience Esperance!
Tour departs Perth most Sundays.
