Great new facilities very clean. As with all hostels bring earplugs especially if staying on a sat night. Comfortably warm in the cold Canberra winter. One of the nicest hostels I've stayed at!

Canberra YHA staff and guests were considerate and very helpful during my short stay. The location is near transport, secure, clean, quiet and very well equipped, including a pool and sauna. Great breakfasts! Highly recommended.

My family (two boys five and seven) had a great winter break here. We loved being right in the centre of town, especially ice skating in the outside rink. The YHA was safe, clean and great for young kids.
