From the historic homes of Battery Point to the panoramic view from the top of Mount Wellington (1270m) there is plenty on offer.
Salamanca Market, the Botanical Gardens, Derwent River Cruises, Cadbury Chocolate Factory and Cascade Brewery, Australia's oldest, are all popular with backpackers.
