Port Fairy YHA backpackers hostel is one of the oldest heritage buildings in Port Fairy, former home to the town founder.

The hostel facilities include a large kitchen, lounge with satellite TV, video, fireplace, pool table, games and library, landscaped gardens and coin laundry. The hostel is located close to shops, beaches, river and wharf. Backpackers can enjoy free use of boogie boards and fishing gear, luggage lockers available.

Backpackers can enjoy historic buildings, antique and art galleries, shops, good food and popular music festivals. See Australian wildlife at Tower Hill and view the whales and seals nearby. Walk to the lighthouse and see mutton birds when in season, all this and more located nearby to the hostel.
