The hostel is located 200 metres to the bus stop. Port Fairy to Warrnambool/ Ballarat /Mt Gambier/Apollo Bay/Melbourne.
Call the hostel directly for information on timetables.
There is also a bus service that runs to and from the Grampians to Port Fairy three times weekly.
The hostel is located 28 km to station at Warrnambool. Connecting bus will bring you to Port Fairy.

Kadir and Alison provide a warm, friendly, accommodating and courteous service. The hostel is run efficiently and is well equipped, appointed and positioned. We would definitely consider returning and would highly recommend it to others.

Easily accessible by public transport.
Shops 5 minutes, cook up a storm in the big kitchen. Short walk (15 minutes) to long ocean (eastern) beach, walk for (2 hours)! Thank you.

I loved this hostel. It was such a homely place and we met a nice bunch of people staying there. Port Fairy itself was a nice change to some of the less interesting towns we passed through on the Great Ocean Road.

This charming fishing village is a must see at the end of the iconic Great Ocean Road. One of the busiest fishing ports in Victoria, you can watch the fishermen unload their catch for the day or wander the wide streets lined with quaint nineteenth century cottages - including our own YHA.
A piece of Victorian history and former home to the town founder, Port Fairy YHA backpackers hostel is one of the oldest heritage buildings in the seaside town. Walking distance to the town centre, beaches and river. Why not eat fresh fish and chips on the beach from the local store and wander to Griffiths Island and see the lighthouse and colony of birds.
