Lancelin Lodge YHA is only 1.5 hours drive north of Perth. The hostel is close to windsurf/kitesurf/surf beaches, town attractions and facilities. Friendly, relaxed home atmosphere, free use of bikes and other activity equipment. Log fire in winter and 15 metre swimming pool. Windsurfing, surfing and sandboarding equipment can be hired in town. Kitesurfing School run by experienced instructors.

Things to do
Lancelin is a small friendly fishing village with a European touch. One of the world's best windsurfing locations and popular for kitesurfing (October to April). Surf all year round, snorkel, swim, walk, sandboard in the huge Lancelin sand dunes. Ask at hostel reception for great surf packages to learn to surf. Kitesurfing school.
Nightlife
Within walking distance from the Lancelin YHA is the Tavern, which has a superb beer garden, looking out over the stunning Indian Ocean.
