The Sheepdog Pass starts in Auckland and then travels down the North Island, stopping in at Rotorua, Taupo and Wellington, before doing a loop of the South Island, including Nelson, Franz Josef Glacier, Lake Wanaka, Queenstown, Lake Tekapo and Queenstown.
If you're short on time, you can do this journey in just 13 days, but you have 12 months in which to complete your Kiwi Experience on this or any other pass.
