Roommates turned out to be quite and did get to sleep without any disturbance. Staff was ok not as helpful as other YHA's. Could have been a little cleaner.

Alice Springs YHA is built within the grounds of an historic outdoor movie theatre, in a great location in the centre of this atmospheric outback town. Our hostel has a big outdoor movie screen showing movies nightly under the stars. All rooms are air conditioned, and there is a BBQ, swimming pool and tour desk offering a full range of discount backpacker tours to see the West MacDonnell Ranges, Ayers Rock and Kings Canyon.
Base yourself in this centrally located hostel and explore Australia’s famous outback.
Family Rooms: To book a family room rate, there must be at least one child under 18 and 1-2 adults; otherwise this special room rate will be adjusted to the usual adult prices with the difference payable on arrival.

Enjoy outdoor movies at night on the hostel's big screen. Try one of several restaurants, including Bojangles or the Overlander Steakhouse, with menus that offer camel, emu, crocodile and kangaroo, among more traditional dishes. Backpackers who want to check-in back home should visit Bojangles, which has a live streaming webcam! Alternatively, grab some take-away and dine under a thousand stars!
500 metres from the hostel.
Get out & about! Whether it's a 1 or 3 day tour, you must go to Uluru, Kings Canyon & Kata Tjuta. Another must see in Alice itself is The Kangaroo Sanctuary Alice Springs which has its own series on the BBC back in the UK. Definitely worth every penny & you get to hold a joey :-)
Our most popular Red Centre Package! Stay at the most central backpackers in Alice Springs before departing on a fantastic 3 day tour, taking in the breathtaking highlights of the majestic Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon.
Get an indepth view of the Red Centre as you explore the must see sights. Learn about Aboriginal culture as you visit Palm Valley, Western MacDonnell Ranges, Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon and of course Uluru itself.
