All long distance and tour coaches drop off and pick up close to the Alice Springs YHA Backpackers Hostel.
2km to station from the hostel. Regular 'Ghan' services available to and from Adelaide, and on to Darwin. Town shuttle bus to hostel $9 per person.
15 km to airport. Airport shuttle is operated by Alice Wanderer shuttle service and costs $12.00 each way.
Shuttle Bus - $9 to/from train.
Had a nice stay here, brilliant location as it's within walking distance of everything! Would definitely recommend as a stopping point for Uluru and everything Red Centre! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Alice Springs YHA is built within the grounds of an historic outdoor movie theatre, in a great location in the centre of this atmospheric outback town. Our hostel has a big outdoor movie screen showing movies nightly under the stars. All rooms are air conditioned, and there is a BBQ, swimming pool and tour desk offering a full range of discount backpacker tours to see the West MacDonnell Ranges, Ayers Rock and Kings Canyon.
