"Enjoyed my one night at this hostel (fortunatley the night of the BBQ). The room was reasonably roomy and the facilities spacious. The location is handy to the centre of Alice. I would be happy to stay there again."

"I was completely satisfied with all the facilities at the Alice Springs Hostel, could have done with some gas lighters in the kitchen for the stove though. People do not carry lighters much these days so it was a hassle to disturb others to try and borrow a lighter. Other than this everything was perfect."

"It was a shame that the evening film wasn't on when I was there. Otherwise as a solo traveller there isn't much else to do in Alice Springs after dark. Its not as up to date as some other YHA's I've stayed in but it was a nice enough stay and it suits the location of Alice Springs."

"My wife and I and two teenage kids stayed for a night as we passed through Alice Springs. Nice room with bunk bed and queen bed. Small pool but was just enough to jump in and cool off with. Nice location as far as walking distance to the mall around the corner which also hosted a Sunday market. We would have loved to see one of the outdoor movies at the hostel. Hostel was exactly what we needed."
