Only 150 metres walk from the hostel to the Central Bus Station, which is located on the corner of Bowen Street and Franklin Street. It's a short walk via Tatham Street to Adelaide Central YHA hostel.
2km to Keswick Interstate Railway Station. Quick taxi directly to Adelaide Central YHA
6 km from airport to the hostel. Take the super cheap Jetbus (public transport) direct to Light Square on Currie Street and walk 100 metres to the YHA. The Jetbus runs every 15 minutes and costs $3.10-$5.00 each way depending on peak and off peak times.
Secure parking - must be reserved $12 per day

500m to supermarket, shop at hostel reception
We used Adelaide Central as a base to visit the Borossa wine region, the Clair valley Down the south coast to Victor Harbor.A ride on the trams to the beach at Glenelg and a ride on the electric train to Seaford and back.We also visited Hahndorf twice much to the delight of my wife who realy enjoyed the shops.We had a rental car and managed the roads and traffic nicely.
