"LAUNDRY SERVICE SHOULD OPERATE 24 HOURS. CURRENT LAUNDRY OPERATING HOURS FROM 1PM - 8PM DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY CONVENIENCE TO GUESTS AS MOST PEOPLE WOULD HAVE LEFT THE HOSTEL FOR DAY TIME ACTIVITIES DURING THESE HOURS. KITCHEN TOO SMALL TO ACCOMMODATE THE NUMBER OF GUESTS IN THE HOTEL. KITCHEN WINDOW CANNOT BE OPENED THUS VENTILATION IS POOR."

"Stayed in 6-bed dorm which was on 3rd floor without lift! Room pretty small for 6 people with backpacks! The kitchen is the smallest I have ever seen. Works out if you relax and plan some more time. Internet available, but did not work both days I stayed!!! It is a good hostel (compared to others in Hobart) but definitely not one of the best YHA's I've been to."
