This was a great location as the big shopping centre is just across the road and about a 10 minute walk away from central. We had a great time and definitely got our money's worth, very clean and well set up.

It's central location in Cairns and being just across the road from the huge shopping plaza with it's food courts and supermarket was a big plus. Walking distance (almost) the the "lagoon" and night life also a positive thing going for the hostel

I did a snorkelling trip with Ocean Free to Green Island, which was great. It was a small group, less than 20 of us, and we went to a private section of the Reef. I also did the Skyrail to Kuranda and took the train back down. That was a great day, wandered around Kuranda, went to the Bird and Butterfly sanctuaries. My last day I walked around Cairns and went to the markets on the Esplanade.
