Rebates towards rent, travel and job-related costs available from 1 November 2020 to 31 December 2021 for short-term agricultural work for at least 6 weeks (at least 120 hours) undertaken at least 90 minutes from your Australian address, in a harvest, regional or remote area.

BEFORE you find a job, you need to register with the Australian Government to ensure you are able to apply for the rebate. Be sure to follow the steps A-B-C
You will need to register with the Australian Tax Office (ATO) and obtain an Australian Tax file number
Get a JobSeeker ID by contacting the Harvest Trail Information Service (HTIS) Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm
Setup an Australian Government myGov account and link it to your JobSeeker ID.
