1. NATIONAL ARBORETUM

Canberra's newest attraction features 94 forests of various types of rare, endangered and symbolic tress and plants from around the world! Take a break from your books and reconnect with nature.

2. WINE TOURS

A glass of wine can do wonders to relax your mind! Head out to the Canberra District Wine Region, just over a half-hour drive from the city, where 33 wineries awaits you and your only decision is red or white.

 

3. MUSEUM CRAWL

One of the best thing about Canberra is its many free museums and art galleries. Set a day (or two) aside and make your way through National Museum of Australia, Australian War Memorial, National Gallery of Australia to learn or rediscover more about Australian history, art and culture.

 

4. RIDE AROUND TOWN

Rent a bike and ride around town. Pack a picnic to have at Commonwealth Park or ride further out to Tidbinbilla, up the hills and look back at the beautiful city you live in.

5. SYDNEY

If you want to get out of the city, a short trip to Sydney is a no-brainer. A3 -hour drive or coach ride will get you to the harbour city with plenty of budget or free sights and attractions to re-energise you before you dive back into uni work.
