YHA wins at Adventure Awards

YHA Australia takes GOLD for Best Cultural Experience at the Adventure & Tourism awards.

Earlier this month, YHA attended the Adventure Tourism Awards hosted on the Gold Coast alongside esteemed colleagues and tourism businesses in the youth tourism sector. We are honoured to be recognised by our industry and will continue bringing real cultural experiences for our guests.

This recognition reflects what sits at the very core of YHA. Our strength as a network is authenticity. YHA isn’t just beds; it’s belonging. We create spaces for connection, learning, and responsible exploration. In the last year across our network of 18 properties, we have:

  • Delivered 159 indigenous-led and cultural activities
  • Engaged 2,271 guests in workshops with free of charge experiences for all participants
  • Invested $33K+ into Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander partnerships
  • Worked towards our 2030 strategic aim to become the leading community-connected social enterprise

A huge congratulations to all the exceptional winners, the drivers behind our delivery of cultural experiences and thank you to everyone in property across the YHA network that made this win possible, this one belongs to all of us!
