Getting here by bus

Private buses charge from $28 to $48 one way from Cairns to Port Douglas. Many of these meet the planes at the airport and buses at the Greyhound terminal. Port Douglas YHA would be happy to arrange your transfer for you. Cars can be rented from Cairns from less than $30 per day.

The hostel is located 60 km to Cairns airport. The drive from Cairns to Port Douglas is one of the most beautiful in Australia and takes 1 hour.
