    Margaret River YHA is a modern hostel, conveniently located within town centre only a few hundred meters from the bus stop, entertainment, shopping and visitors centre. 

    We offer a total of 52 beds in 4, 6, 8 and 10 bed air conditioned dorms, a Jobs Desk for your vineyard work plus our Beach Bus to the beach.

    Margaret River is the backpacker capital of Australia’s South West, voted by Lonely Planet as one of the top ten regional destinations. Located a scenic 3 hour drive south of Perth, Margaret River is one of the few places in the world where international backpackers can combine casual vineyard work with a great holiday in rural Western Australia.

    Margaret River is renowned for its beaches, wineries, native forests, caves, award winning entertainment venues and a wide choice of quality cafes and restaurants.

    Things to do in Margaret River

    This YHA is located near the famous Margaret River wine region and it is well worth visiting the area to sample the local produce. You can visit many wineries, breweries, cheese, chocolate, coffee and ice-cream factories. The area is also known for its world famous surf breaks. Or if you just want to relax, enjoy the hostel's facilities such as Foxtel and the football pitch.

    There is Live music every Fri, Sat, Sun at the at Settlers Tavern, just a short walk from the Margaret River YHA hostel. Nightly meal specials around town. Karaoke on Mon and Thur, Pool Comp every Tue; open until midnight on Wednesday.
