This summer, two iconic Australian names are raising a glass to the places we travel that shape us, and the people who bring them to life.
Latitude Lager is a unique, specially crafted beer in partnership between Coopers Brewery and YHA Australia. Built with movement and travel at its core, Latitude Lager is made for those moments after you've checked-in, where anything could happen next. New faces become lifelong mates, and your first sip could be the start of a new adventure.
Coopers brings all the good stuff behind the scenes too. Independent and family-owned since 1862, the brewery, like YHA Australia, takes sustainability seriously with an onsite co-generation plant and systems that capture and recycle up to 35 megalitres of water each year.
Each Latitude Lager design traces a different stretch of Australia, with lines that follow ocean shores, river bends and roadways, guiding you toward whatever’s next.
- 33° South is Sydney: with coral sunset skies meeting deep harbour blues, where the journey begins. Available at the rooftop bar at YHA Sydney Harbour (in-house guests and members only) and Schirrmo's Bar (YHA Sydney Central).
- 27° South is Brisbane: inspired by river-to-beach warmth in golden light and lush green, and made for easy, sun-drenched days. Available at the rooftop bar at YHA Brisbane City (in-house guests only).
- 37° South is Melbourne: embracing laneway soul in lilac and parkland green, stitched together by tram lines and unforgettable late-night plans that become treasured memories. Available at YHA Melbourne Central's bar.
