The safety of you and your group is, and has always been, our number 1 priority. YHA have always employed a wide range of rigorous safety procedures in our properties, and we have been regularly updating these to minimise any risks that have arisen due to COVID-19.
Whilst the specific Government restrictions and regulations vary across each State and Territory, and are regularly changing, we are doing everything we can to ensure the safety of your group and can guarantee that we will be compliant with all appropriate Health Department requirements at the time of your stay.
We will ensure that your group are able to comply with all social distancing regulations and will work to minimise any interactions with other guests in our properties. We will ensure that there is appropriate spacing in all bedrooms, dining and social areas, including our reception areas. All properties have appropriate signage throughout the premises to remind guests.
We have introduced additional cleaning protocols and frequency, especially in communal areas and on high-touch surfaces throughout the property. All of our teams have received specific training for ensuring safe stays during COVID-19.
Hand sanitiser is available at reception and hand soap is available in all bathrooms, to enable your group to clean their hands at any time. We have introduced signage to remind all guests of the importance of regular handwashing.
All of our catering staff have completed specific training relating to COVID-19, to ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of hygiene.
