    • I have stayed at many YHAs all over the world, but have to say that Perth is one of the best. Very friendly staff too and always clean (the hostel and the staff).

    Things to do in Perth

Perth is the most vibrant city of Western Australia and is full of great things to do. The Perth CBD is great for shoppers looking to pick up a bargain or two, whereas just north of Perth City YHA the funky, cool suburb of Northbridge is where you can spend your days exploring cafes, galleries and museums and your nights bar hopping and grooving along to live music.

Perth is famous for it's beautiful beaches. Water babies will want to hit up Scarborough Beach or Cottesloe beach to swim, surf and boogie board, whereas those wanting more of a laid back experience can get some r&r on the sand. Stick around for sunset, they're really something else on the west coast!

Base yourself in Perth and explore the surrounding area with a day trip or two. Rottnest Island is a short ferry ride away whereas historical, charming Fremantle is only a 30 minute train ride. Head to the Swan Valley for a wine tasting or explore WA's unique landscape when you visit the Pinnacles.
