Falls Festival

Byron Bay Bluesfest - Thursday, 18 April – Monday, 22 April

  • Australia’s premier blues and roots festival returns for its huge 30th birthday celebration in 2019! Pulling an audience of more than 100,000 people to the Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm north of Byron for five fabulous days of live music and entertainment. Byron Bay Triathlon – Saturday, 11 May

  • Catering to athletes of all levels, Australia’s most popular destination-triathlon swims, cycles and sprints through Byron this Autumn, before a well-earned party on Saturday night. Click HERE for everything Byron Bay Triathlon!


Splendour in the Grass – Friday, 19 July – Sunday, 21 July

  • Dance away the winter blues with 30,000 of your closest mates at the biggest mid-year music festival in the country, which returns to the North Byron Parklands from July 19-21. Byron Bay Writer’s Fest – Friday, 2 August – Sunday, 4 August

  • This event is kinda like Splendour, if you swapped tunes for books and musicians for authors. Dozens of high-profile writers entertain huge crowds with conversations, panels, readings, lectures and book launches across five marquees and two conference rooms. Bookworms, welcome to paradise. Writers Festival

Byron Bay Film Festival - Friday, 18 October – Sunday, 27 August

  • The 13th iteration of the BBFF showcases outstanding up-and-coming talent with a richly diverse program of films screened at a number of boutique venues around Byron. Film buffs learn more HERE.


Byron Latin Fiesta - Thursday, 31 October – Sunday, 3 November

  • Looking forward to its 14th instalment in 2019, this fiesta is one of the longest-running Latin dance events in Australia, with three nights of dance workshops and four nights (and early mornings…) of parties! Get ya dance on and read more info HERE


Mullum Music Festival Byron Bay – Thursday, 14 November – Sunday, 17 November

  • Twenty minutes up the road from Byron, the scenic mountain town of Mullumbimby throws its own music festival each summer that’s just as offbeat as the place itself. Falls Festival - Monday, 31 December – Wednesday, 2 January

  • The iconic New Year’s festival hits up Lorne in Victoria, Marion Bay in SA, Fremantle in WA, and last but not least Byron Bay, bringing a huge line-up of artists to the North Byron Parklands to enter 2020 in style. Falls info HERE.
