  1. For the best views of Kununurra and the Ord River, hike up to the Kelly's Knobb and watch the sunset.
  2. See the "mini Bungle Bungles" at Mirima National Park - only a 5 minute drive from town.
  3. Head to Lake Kununurra for gorgeous views, wildlife spotting and sailing, rowing or water skiing.
  • Mirima national park (Happy Valley) was a very nice and calm place

  • Walks to the top of Kelly's Knob and around the Mirima NP are must-dos as both are in walking distance. Go on a boat trip on Lake Argyle, too! A drive to the Grotto (~75km) is absolutely worth the while. I can recommend a scenic flight over Lake Argyle and the Bungles though it is quite expensive. I am sure we missed some of the attractions of the area cause we did not hire a 4WD. Next time! Dinner at the Lakeside resort (caravan park) is great!
