FREE things to do in Albany

  1. Hike, fish or bird watch at beautiful Kalgan River.
  2. Visit a beach or two. Albany and the surrounding areas have many stunning beaches with white blue sands and gorgeous blue waters for you to swim, surf, windsurf or just relax on.
  3. Walk part of the Bibbulmun Track. While it stretches over 1000km to Kalamunda in the Perth Hills, the start of the track is only a 5 minute walk from the hostel.
  4. Be in awe of Stirling Range National Park. There are gorgeous lookout points at the end of hiking trails, vibrant flora and an abundance of animals to spot.
  • I would recommend Middleton Beach, and the outdoors environment of the Albany region in general as depicted by the coastline, Porongurup and Stirling Ranges and perhaps other destinations.
