Pittwater gives your family, friends or group the opportunity to rent a whole building for a short break in beautiful Pittwater. Our property sleeps up to 32 people across a range of room types and it the perfect place to get away from it all.

Group rate from only $1013 per night

With the changing restrictions being imposed by the State Government, our maximum occupancy may be reduced in line with our COVID-safe plan. This can also have an effect on our specific rates for the dates you wish to stay. When you enquire with us, we will provide you with the most up to date information we can. Located within Kur-ring-gai Chase National Park, overlooking Morning Bay on Pittwater’s western shore, this property offers exclusive use accommodation for up to 32 people in a mix of multi-share and double rooms. Only 30 kms north of Sydney city, with access by ferry from Church Point, come and enjoy the tremendous water views and tranquil atmosphere at this historic 1920s building. Pittwater YHA is the ideal place for special interest groups, functions and getaways with friends.

Please note that the first weekend of every month is reserved for independent travellers and cannot be booked for Groups.

Please be aware that due to our bush location, there is no television at this property and phone reception is limited.


Check out our regular rooms and rates if you'd rather bring your own food and linen. 

Pittwater YHA is a great place for communal group meals with excellent cooking facilities and large tables on the verandah.

Groups must order catering in advance or bring all food with them as there are no shops/cafes/restaurants or opportunities to purchase food items within vicinity of our property. There is a small convenience store at Church Point (next to the ferry wharf) or supermarkets in nearby Mona Vale to stock up.

Pittwater YHA provides a large well-equipped self-catering kitchen with commercial fridge, cook tops, oven, microwave and all pots, pans and utensils needed. There is a gas BBQ for guests to use. Guests are asked to keep all areas clean after use.

Please keep in mind that you will need to transport everything you bring to Pittwater YHA from the wharf (ferry or water taxi) at bottom of hill – a 15 minute walk (see the Location tab for more information on this).
