Day 1 – Flinders Ranges National Park
It is an early start this morning as we set out for our journey across the Nullarbor. We stop for a rest in Clare for a coffee break before continuing in to the rugged gorges and red gums of the Flinders Ranges. We stretch our legs with a walk through Alligator Gorge before heading on to Quorn home of the Pichi Richi Railway for lunch. After we fill our bellies we make our way to Warren Gorge which is our camp for the night. We have the opportunity before the sun sets to explore this beautiful gorge and hopefully see a Yellow Footed Rock Wallaby. We relax for the evening in our bush camp under the stars of the Southern Cross
Day 2 – Coodlie Park and the Eyre Peninsula
Today we journey on to the Eyre Peninsula which is one of South Australia’s best kept secrets. Something you won’t be expecting is The Big Galah. An 8 metre high fibreglass galah in the tiny town of Kimba. After lunch we hit the road again and travel to Venus Bay and Talia Caves. A highlight is Lake Newland Sand Dunes where those who are keen can show off their sandboarding skills. In the late afternoon we pull into Coodlie Park, a working farm and our camp for the night. Enjoy a nice warm shower and sleep in our super cool swag huts
Day 3 – Baird Bay and Fowlers Bay
Just up the road lies Baird Bay famed for its amazing ocean wildlife. This morning you will have the option to swim with the Sea Lionsand Dolphins on a 3 hour cruise. This is an optional experience and is an additional $180. It is an experience you will treasure forever. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the beach before heading to our secluded camping spot at Fowlers Bay campground
Day 4 – The Great Australian Bight
Days don’t get much more Australian than this one. Not only do we cross the 5320 km long dingo fence, we also have the opportunity for a photo at the famous wombat, emu, camel road sign on the Nullarbor. We stop off at Bunda Cliffs to see where Australia, quite literally, drops into the ocean. This afternoon we cross the border into WA. Tonight we bush camp under the amazing night sky
Day 5 – Esperance and Cape Le Grand National Park
This morning we could easily think we have gone to another planet with the strewn about space junk. We Travel through the small towns of Balladonia and Norseman. Balladonia became famous in 1979 when the Skylab space station returned to earth here rather abruptly. After lunch we continue on to Esperance, which may seem like a bustling metropolis after five days in the outback. We continue on to the spectacular Cape Le Grand National Park and set up camp for the evening
Day 6 – Cape Le Grand National Park
Crystal clear waters, squeaky white sand, expansive granite bluffs and sunbathing Kangaroos. Experience the majestic Cape Le Grand National Park and see it all. With free time to explore, set out on a coastal bush walk, splash about in the sea or just kick back on the spectacular beach. Later we take a hike to Frenchman’s Peak where beautiful vistas span across Cape Le Grand and the Recherche Archipelago
Day 7 – Stirling Ranges
This morning we take a walk down to the beach and spot some kangaroos. It is then on to our campsite in the Stirling Ranges
Day 8 – Quinninup
Today we need to make sure we keep our cameras close by as the scenery is spectacular. We drive along Western Australia’s answer to Victoria’s Great Ocean Road. You will be treated to superb views of sun-bleached boulders, turquoise seas and dramatic red-rock cliffs shaped by a lifetime of crashing waves. From the coast we head towards the forest to view the Valley of the Giants. We then make our way to Quinninup and our camp for the night
Day 9 – Margaret River
Today we have the opportunity to eat, drink and be merry, tasting the delicious local fare of Margaret River. Boutique breweries, chocolate, cheese and even a fudge factory. We have the time to explore it all
Day 10 – Perth
Our last day together, we hit the coastal road to Perth. We call into the Ngilgi Caves and learn about this amazing underground world. We gain some insight into the local culture during a meet-up with some of the people indigenous to the area. It is then on the road to Perth to rest up at the Perth City YHA to recover from your huge 10 day adventure

The Nullarbor is a remote and wild place. We’ll try to follow the itinerary but some sights are seasonal and can change at any time due to weather conditions and cultural significance. If we are unable to access certain sites they will be substituted with something just as awesome
