If you would like to beat the crowds to the 12 Apostles this reverse tour is for you! In the morning the tour will travel to Port Campbell through country Victoria, while all the other tours head straight to the coast.
You will arrive at the 12 Apostles hours before the other buses and will be able to get those perfect photos without having to compete for the best vantage point. If you were thinking about adding on a helicopter flight at the 12 Apostles, the reverse tour option will reduce your waiting time and give you more time at the coastal viewing points and boardwalks. Admire the mighty limestone stacks from the cliff side trails, walk down onto the sand in Loch Ard Gorge and learn the history of the shipwreck coast.
Enjoy the spectacular ocean views, ancient rainforest and wildlife as your wind your way along the Great Ocean Road back towards Melbourne. Take a 30 minute walk through the serene forest of towering trees at Maits Rest. Keep an eye out for wildlife as you travel through the trees but don’t stress if you can’t spot any! At Kennett River the bus will make a stop to spot wild koalas and some brightly coloured birdlife.
You will stop in Torquay for an opportunity to purchase dinner before returning to Melbourne.
What you need to bring: Water, hat, sunscreen, comfortable walking shoes, warm and cool weather clothing
