If you think 1 day travelling the Great Ocean Road is not enough, this 2 day/1 night tour is for you. Get the long inland drive out of the way first, as you drive direct to Port Campbell and the stunning 12 Apostles. Not only do you get to see them as the sun sets, but again in the morning at sunrise. Perfect for all those keen photographers out there!
Departing Melbourne you will travel the inland route as you make your way to Tower Hill, a beautiful sunken volcano home to loads of kangaroos, koalas and emus. Then it's onto the Great Ocean Road where the amazing coastal views begin. See the Bay of Islands, Bay of Martyrs, The Grotto and London Bridge. As the day is coming to an end you will head up to the 12 Apostles for an amazing sunset experience. Overnight: Port Campbell
It's back to the 12 Apostles to see them again in the morning light before going to Gibson’s Steps to see one of the Apostles from the beach and admire the magnificent size. You will get a chance to stretch your legs on a walk through ancient rainforest at Maits Rest then stop in the charming seaside town of Apollo Bay for lunch (own expense). Great scenery all afternoon as you wind your way back towards Melbourne.
